Welcome to our University

You've Been Admitted – What Comes Next?

Congratulations on your place at the University of Hartford. There are a few things you can do to get the best possible start to your studies when you join us this year.

Orientation

Orientation is a great way to get to know UHart before starting your studies. Check your email for important orientation information. The IPP also posts Orientation and Post-Arrival information on Blackboard that you can access at any time.

Orientation provides an opportunity to learn more about University of Hartford facilities, resources and experience what makes West Hartford and the University unique. The first few days of orientation will include fun and interactive workshops, presentations and activities to start your success at Hartford.

Register For Your Courses

Your first semester courses will be scheduled for you. Ideally, you will know your class schedule at least 2 weeks prior to the start of school. Once you are in the pathway program, you will meet with the IPP Center Director to choose courses for the following semester.

English Proficiency Testing

You will be required to take an English placement exam through the University’s English Language Institute (ELI). The English exam can be completed online and is typically scheduled prior to the start of school. Exact date to be determined.
